Wonga Park is a located 29 km north-east from Melbourne’s CBD.

The name comes from the Wonga Park grazing property, which itself derives from Simon Wonga, elder of the Wurundjeri indigenous people of Melbourne. The area was part of Mooroolbark until the 1890s.

Located on Old Yarra Road, Wonga Park Community Cottage provides the community a meeting place, child care, playgroup, Maternal and Child Health Services and access to courses and activities.
